Ginger has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and other healthful properties. It reduces gas and improves digestion, relieves nausea, eases cold/flu, supporting cardiovascular health.
Store them in the refrigerator intact, with the peel still on, or store cut ginger in a freezer bag; press out most of the air and place it in the crisper drawer in the refrigerator.
